Located in the serene village landscape of Pudhukottai, this modern villa was envisioned as a home that reflects the evolving dynamics of a multigenerational family. The client sought a design that embodies the shift from a traditional lifestyle to one that embraces contemporary values—creating a space for the next generation while honoring the past.
The completed residence strikes a delicate balance between tradition and modernity through its use of natural materials and a minimalist approach. The façade features a refined composition of grey stone cladding and teak brown wooden accents, offering both texture and warmth. A vertical slit window introduces controlled natural light into the interiors, while acting as a quiet architectural statement.
The landscaped front yard softens the built form and anchors the house to its rural setting, creating a gentle transition between the public and private realms. Every element of the design reflects our core principles—simplicity, functionality, and a deep connection to context.
