Design Brief
Designed within a constrained budget, BFC’s architectural intent was to create a modern façade that engages with its streetscape. Expansive glazing allows for visual connection and daylighting, while integrated metal jalis filter harsh light and create dynamic patterns. The built form is grounded by existing tree cover, contributing to natural shading and comfort.

The interiors adopt a clean and structured spatial order, optimizing the layout for high footfall and seamless circulation. Booth seating, open dining zones, and clear zoning support both individual and communal dining experiences. Overhead, a patterned ceiling grid adds rhythm while concealing services and lighting integration.
Colorful accents and botanical wall graphics add a playful layer to the otherwise rational plan. Lighting strategies highlight spatial depth and enhance evening ambience. BFC demonstrates how spatial quality and identity can be achieved through strategic design interventions—even within tight financial limits.
